Levered Learning has earned the Codesign Product Certification from Leanlab Education. The new certification is intended to serve as a rigorous, reliable signal for consumers, including school administrators, educators, and families, looking for evidence of research-based educational technology (edtech) products. To earn the certification, Levered Learning submitted evidence that they iterated their product as a result of feedback they received from teachers and students after the culmination of their research study with Leanlab Education.
"Our approach to product-design has always been fueled by feedback from real-world users, but working with Leanlab allowed us to speed up the cycle,” said Mitch Slater, CEO of Levered Learning. “During the pandemic, being responsive and adaptive was more critical than ever, and Leanlab helped us see what was working and where we could improve in time to make the changes that mattered most to teachers and students."
The new certification from Leanlab Education aims to bring greater transparency to how edtech products are developed and serve as a signal for education decision makers during the purchasing process that products have been developed with school communities, rather than for them.
“Levered Learning has been an excellent partner,” said Katie Boody Adorno, CEO and Founder of Leanlab. “They’ve been extremely responsive to the feedback they received from teachers and students during the research process and we’re excited to be able to provide them with the certification to prove it.”
